Can I keep this fish with a Pbass or an Oscar? He looks lonely

Trust me, he ain’t lonely. He is more like a serial killer pretending to be your friend...
Butties rank up there with doviis. They can rarely be kept with others, and would make short work of an Oscar or p bass. They can and will beat up just about any cichlid their size.
If you want others with it, you may have luck with some fast schooling fish (which will likely become feeders).

I agree, these species do not play well with others, especially if your tank is under 500 gallons
and FYI, it is a riverine African cichlid
