Dear all

here is a picture of a big C. punctatum:

http://floridasportfishing.com/magazine/im...---08020038.jpg

Its comment:
"Singapore angler Bruno Binet, guided by Jean-Francois Helias (who is being honored with an IGFA Lifetime Achievement Award), landed a brownbanded bamboo shark (Shiloscyllium punctatum) on February 10, weighing 2.89 kg (6 lb 5 oz). They were fishing Kut Island, Gulf of Siam, Thailand, using squid for bait for the All-Tackle class record which presently stands in the IGFA record books at 4 lb 10 oz from the same area. "

I know this species can reach 1,10 m. The comment doesn't mention the lenght, unfortunately. Any ideas?

Regards,
Stefano

Ehe eh, people usually don't keep sharks not only in Italy but in the rest of the world ;-)
Yoor parents are from the south of Italy, while I am in the north, about 20 Km far from Milan, where I was born

The girlfriend and I are visiting Italy next spring - touring a few places I've always wanted to go - Modena, St-Agata, and Bologna (points for whoever guesses what those cities have in common).

I aldo suggest you some italian seaside places like Portofino, Lerici (where my in-laws have the first house) and Cinque Terre, Capri island, and other big cities like Milan, Florence and Rome, but it's impossible to write all the interesting places in Italy, as this country is full of history, art and different cultures.
