big carnivorous plecos

Not the best diet plan in the world for him, but I've got a common that currently goes nuts for a beefheart/shrimp mix I feed the other fish in the tank. He still gets fresh veggies and algea wafers regularly, but homes in and bullies the other fish away from the beef. He'll also take raw shrimp in the shell, earth/meal worms, and has a thing for crickets. (He's stolen more than a few crickets right out of the mouth of other fish.)

There are no true carnivorous Loricariidae's the Pseudacanthicus sp. discussed above are primarily carrion and detritus feeders and are only occasional predators of bottom dwelling invertebrates such as worms or mollusks except for freshwater sponges and fungi which make up the Pseudacanthicus sp. main diet.

Like bryozoans and such?! I would love to grow those for my Adonis. Are they hard to culture?

Not particularly they are in fact a type of soft freshwater coral and the ones that grow wild in the US are very similar to the ones in the Amazon.
