where my cichla are
well, without going into a long story.. my 6 ft long 100 gallon tank is now available. it needs cleaning and recycling.. that will happen in the next few days.

so i'm thinking about moving ALL of the fish from the 60 gal and the 45 gal corner tank and putting them all together.

there would end up being: 2 P. Altum angels, 4 P. Scalare angels, 2 6" ornate bichers, 3 red bay snooks, 2 cichla ocellaris, 3 silver arowana, 1 royal pleco and 1 common pleco.

the cichla and the arowana and the snooks are all growing and will eventually move on to bigger and better things. but the bichers and plecos will probably stay with the angels in the long run.

i think i'm going to put a combo of live and silk plants in it, though i know the live plants won't survive long. i'll probably replace them often.

what do ya think?

I think that's insane! Too many fish in a 100 gal. IMO. Even if the fish are small, they will quickly outgrow that tank.

this is true.. but the other tanks that i have here are.. a 7' 110 gallon, a 4' 150 gallon, a 6' 135 gallon and an 8 ft 240 gallon.

the fish that will outgrow this situation will move on to bigger and better things as they grow, i thought i made that clear in my original post. the permanent residents will be the angels and the baby bichers.

even the arowana's will out grow the 240.

Yeah, I get it. Read your post. It says you want to dump all these fish into a 100 gal. tank, eventually moving some of them. I say, it is not a wise decision to put them in there in the first place. Maybe you are the one that doesn't get it. :)
