i'm soon gonna have a empty 50gallon tank and i would love to have a single big cichlid in there , i won't be upgrading the tank so it would have to be something that would be ok in there for life.
i was thinking of a green terror of a JD or i'm open to suggestions please i want something that has a bit of character and attitude :D

It was my understanding that green terrors can reach a foot, and should be kept in at least a 75.

Sajica cichlids are 6" long, but beefy. They're great little fish, I recommend them to anyone who wants a "big" cichlid for a 29-55.

Id suggest a oscar but he would quickly outgrow the 50 gallon. The green terror sounds like it would an interesting fish to have.

Green Terror...I have never seen a 12" terror. WOuld be enough room for one in a 50 gallon.

^ i agree EBJD would be deadly with maybe a shoaling fish or Maybe a Few Clown Loach??
