Did some talking to my dad and he is gonna get back into the hobby next summer. He asked me about the cichlid scene these days and what pair would be good for his old heavy 75gallon i used before i bought a new one. I will be resealing his and building him a new stand. He always love jags and stuff but hated their temper. I told him a pair of freddys would be great for a 75. He's also thinking about doing benies since im getting one as well. He wants me to start growing them out for him since i will be making an order to rapps soon. What do you guys think? I'm trying to keep him away from the oddballs and other boring fish he used to keep cuz of all the fish he had the cichlids were my favorite...

i have a small male istlanum now so that could work. Hes not a fan of the lyonsi. I sent him a few picks of fish to see what he was liking. He likes the freddy, beani, salvini
