So it finally happened... One of my rays stung a fish.. and of course it was my biggest clown loach right in the mouth.

my aro was tagged a few months back and he pulled through. He could move for about 4 days. I would put him in some kind of jig to at least keep him upright
Wow, there's no sugar coating this, that looks really bad, poor clown loach.
I guess being a large loach rather than a small specimen, it's got size on its side regarding recovery - a big healthy individual must have more chance of pulling through than a juvenile.

I don't know if it was your pics or someone else's I seen the other day, that showed a couple of rays swarmed by some clown loaches; but I wondered at the time how it was even working and why the loaches hadn't been stung.
