This SB-900 speedlight, just starting to get hang of it. I know I can get even better shots when I rig this up to a tripod with the flash into a softbox or reflector. But for now, I thought the detail was incredible for some quick impromptu manual shots into my tank. These shots all have no post processing, they are just straight from the Nikon D90.:headbang2

All I need to look into is improving every time.:grinno:

Lighting is King! Great loaches, they look huge! Have you tried firing the flash right above the fish?

I did but I was fiddling about and they didn't come out. The flash syncs at 1/200 max, but FP mode allows anything, however the light becomes a problem at high shutter with this mode. I'm gonna do right into the water wirelessly next time I shoot them on manual 1/1 for max power and freeze them with a 1/500 as 1/200 some of the shots which I didn't upload, had motion blur!

Thanks everyone more to come soon!:headbang2
