I have recently aquired two large comercail grade water chillers. I am going to test them both and if they both work I'm planning on selling one. These chillers were last serviced in 1990, sealed with a service tag, then put into storage. They were about $5,000 each new. I have no idea how much water they can chill, but I'm sure a 250 Gallon tank would be easy for these. They weigh about 50-70lbs each and stand 2.5' tall. They plug into standard 120v and have a dial temperature gauge. temps range from 80-40 degrees. From what I understand they were used in the printing industry to chill large photo processing printing plates. And that no chemicals were run through them, only water. The friend who gave them to me was a printer who ended up getting out of the business in 2000. SO he has a pretty good history on these two machines.
So is anyone intrested in getting a LARGE chiller? If so let me know and once I know if they are both in good order one may go up on the auction block.
