Well people:

Had a real scare last nite. My wife and i were watching TV, turned around to take a look to see what the motoro stingray was doing, and what do i see, but water leaking big time from around the bottom of the tank.

Make a long story short, i had to do something quick, called my sister in law who had a 50 gallong tank because all i had was a 20 gallong and that one would be too small for him, a little small for a temp home but better than nothing. The tank that is leaking is a 110 gallon.

Anyways, i siphoned enough of the water out to fill the 50 gallong tank, moved over some of his sand, got the canister filters working and the bubbler and hooked up all the other equipment.

Moved him over about 1 hour later and now everything is fine, he is doing well in his temp home until i fix the other one.

Never had this happen before, but man its scary especially where the tank is located had a new floor under it.

Now comes the fun part, fixing the bigger tank and moving him back in.

Just thought i would share my scary experience with ya.

Cheers.

nice save. but instead of fixing maybe its a great excuse to go ahead and upgrade since it will have to happen soon any way

Yep, the 110 won't hold him for long.

That has always been a fear of mine. To come home to an empty tank with dead rays. Good thing you were home!
