Big eye Congo Tetra

I picked this guy up a few days ago from someone who had kept him in a 10 gallon. I picked him up with 3 of his buddies. Why does he have such a large eye? Could it be past injury from Popeye?

Looks more chick fil a if you ask me? or olive oil idk. But I’d test your parameters and see if someone can help from there. Could be just the stress of moving.

Looks like a normal female congo tetra to me. Eye may look a tad bigger prob cuz its skinny. Bulk her up and her body will get a lil bigger which will make the eyes to appear a bit smaller. Congo are one of my fav tetras

Probably just genetics then. I wouldn’t be surprised with all the inbreeding going on these days.
I have a yellow finned Buenos Aires tetra (probably just a really rare trait).
