Big Fang!

We were feeding my friends 4'+ male Gaboon Viper a XXL jumbo rat yesterday and when he struck, this fang was dislodged and hanging out the side of his mouth. will a little dental work using some 24" hemostats, we retrieved this fang. It's over a inch long!

That's pretty cool. Gaboons are definitely one of my most favorite viper species.

Correct, a full grown female can have fangs 2" long.
