I was wanting one big/smart cichlid for my 75 gallon tank. I want this fish to be very very mean and smart. Any ideas?

You could have a Jaguar in there. Totally awesome fish. In a home aquarium they usually only get up to 16" at the largest...expect a good 12-14" at least. In the wild or HUGE tanks they will get up to 20"!!! 
Great Predator appearance that will make people go WHOA! That's a mean looking fish!!! Great pattern and a beautiful Purple/Blue iridescent tint to their skin and fins!! 
Flowerhorn would be your best bet! They look SWEET!! Actually beautiful IMO.....and they are MEAN AS HELL!!! Only one per tank please! And get a male
You could always go for the popular Male Red Devil/Midas
A Trimac would be along those lines too

I'd go with a Flowerhorn. I'm in the process of clearing out my 29g. to use as a growout for a baby FH.

Only one I've bought from is a Thai guy by the name of "The_Eagle" on Aquabid.com......he sells cheap ass ("Cheap ass" as in price) Juvenile "Super Red" Flowerhorn (don't really care for their names) for like $20.00 only! Then add shipping and it will cost you around $40 Total for fish and shipping!
I bought a male for my uncle several months ago. It arrived at 1.5" and now it is 6" and STUNNING!!! It has a good body shape, is a very thick fish, Pearls all over and the Red coloring is taking over it's body!!! (almost like snakeskin) The guy is still selling them I believe and that is probably where i'll go again for a great looking ZZ'ish flowerhorn. From my understanding it's a ZZ flowerhorn, but it's definitely not a lowgrade flowerhorn!!!

hatiain would . pretty, mean and very personable ( not shy). if you can find one though not everyone has them. im about to go on aqua bid my self to start selling so if you would like one or if anyone else needs a rarer fish let me know.i have everything from central and south american to africans.
