Might be inheriting this big mama and the 75g from my brother in law. At 11"+/-, she shares 75g with an 8" female FH...both grown out from about an inch long.

I think he does about 6 water changes a year

what kind of cichlids is that? is it a hybrid or pure breed?

that is a Festae. or true red terror. its a female. not a hybrid. great looking fish. they look 100 times better in spawning condition though when their orange turns to an almost unreal fire color. and they can be aggressive as hell.

I have 3 festae but the don't have color like that.... are the females colorfull and the males dule?
