I got really excited thinking this was a super large in tank Gorillus. Lol nope... Haha cool share anyways. What a beast.
I wish fisher's wouldn't hold there catch out with a extended arm, be nice to see how big it actually is. Stunning fish though
It's a Gorillus black, so when it gets stressed it gets super dark. Actually alot of fish do this. I've brought blue marlin in that were super colored up, and on the same page brought blue marlin in that where almost jet black.
Yeah, heh.... Forced perspective is fun. Almost all fishermen use it now adays. Myself included
I've found that the best way to figure out the real size is to look at the guys hand that's holding it. The belly is at least as big as four fingers. So if you rough estimate around 5inches where his hand is. You can kinda sorta pull a legnth out of your ass. This is easily a 20inch fish.
I always hold it close to me so you can use my body for reference
