Big gulper cats

Looking to buy big gulper cats featured in MFK books. What is the average cost on these?

A few months ago, they were selling for $500 (if you could find them). The last 2 I saw sold went for $300/each but, the buyer bought 2. So, I don't know if he was cut a special deal on the pair.

One of the importers I deal with have Wallago & Ompak species available. I don't know the sizes available but they were much lower in price than mentioned above.

Isn't one (or both) of these refered to as a "gulper"?

just asked my wife if she pay $500.00 for a cat and she said yes if she was really into it ,she asked me the same question hell yeah!!! lol
