I have a 22 inch Pacu in a 100 gallon acrylic tank. I plan to re-home him to a 240 once I get the 240 setup.
I had to take him out once before, due to an overflow (on carpet). Had to buy a Landing net, for fishing, just to nab him.
As you can guess, he got to flopping in the net. In doing so, he gashed his jaw on the access hole while coming out and going back in.
Question is what is the best way to get him out again and into the 240. The access holes on the 240 are the same width as the 100 but 6 inches shorter.
A friend suggested covering his head with a dark shirt or something so he cant see. Would this really work?
All suggestions welcome except for hot grease and corn meal
