BIG HEATER

tank size? i recently purchased a 250 watt stealth and it's amazing. anything over 75 gallons and you might use two.
 
I've got 2 Ebo Jager heaters in my tank, each is 200 watts for a 200 gal tank.
 
i have 500w on my larger 600g+ tanks without any trouble.
 
I mostly use pond equipment for my aquariums. I have a 1400 liter aquarium dunno how much that is in gallons? 300-400?? But I want to build me some big aquariums in the near future, so I bought my heater keeping that in mind. In my living room I'll put a 1kw heater on the planned 4mx1m aquarium and the current 2KW heater I own on the 5x2,5 meter aquarium I am planning to build in my garage.

All these heaters are external heaters and are mounted after the pump before the water is returned in my aquarium

i use titanium heaters with a home made digital controller made from refrigeration controls..much more accurate and dependable than the cheap forign made stuff.seems to me the heaters are reliable but i've never had much success with the controls..i've lost many fry due to bad heaters overheating the tank.
 
I'm currently using 2 ebo jagers. I like them becuase a orange light turns on when their in use. Be sure to get a protective sleeve cover if you decide to get an ebo so the rays doesn't get burned.
