Can I see some pics of large juruense as I don't see that many

It seems we may only have a measly 1-2 active members that may have a large currently-living juruense to show. Sadly.

Mine was caught by George Fear. Dead at 2':

In 2012-2013 there appears to have been a spike in our discussions of juruense and what flash zebra means. Lots of cool pics but appears to be mostly of the flash variety:

Why is it we don't see many adults ?
Hard they harder to take care of than tigrinus?

I'm growing one now but just want to know why not many make it to 2ft

20160227_145518.jpg I'm growing mine out now. Mine was at 3 inches and now about 7 to 8 inches in about a month. And loves to show himself and is starting to show color. One of the best catfish.

What's the difference between flash and regular?

The first two links above should help get you started :)

I don't think there is a special reason. Just stating my experience. If memory serves, I only saw one adult (still living) jur - that of M mustang93svt who keeps with an adult tig in one tank (Ohio rules!) - in all my years on MFK.

Every other jur was either dead or not from an MFK-er or from an inactive MFK-er. But I am sure they are out there.
