big knife hideouts

Since I got my stingray about a month ago, my BGK has been stealing her food. As such, he grew from about 9" to 11" and is sticking out of both ends of his ~10" slate lean-to. He doesn't seem to mind, but I feel this is inadequate. I could find some longer slate, but it's getting unsightly.

What do you other big knife owners use to provide your ambush predators with shelter?

I used underwater epoxy and glued several rocks to the base of an artificial mangrove tree stump. It looks like a cave and gives mine plenty of room.

i would take a huge piece of PVC pipe and turn it into a DIY project to make it look more natural

like glue sand to it so it blends it, glue rocks, stack rocks on top of it so people dont notice it... ect ect ect

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll make some kind of gravel covered PVC tube.

just stack sandstone on and around the pvc.

i have one ..no two of these logs in the tank..if the pleco chases him out of one he goes to the other one..
