Big Koi eat small Koi??!?!?!??!?!

As the title says!! Just got 5 lil tester Koi(bout 1-2inches) for my 2,000gal pond and there doing great! i was wondering if i could put in some big boys about are less then 1ft or if not 1ft. will take pics soon, i love them actually.

Anyway i havnt been on for a long time went to Calgary and now am home and its basketball season now (for my school) and am not messing around i want a championship and today is the rare days we DONT have pratice (got off school early) currently have 30pts 12rebounds 7blocks outof 3 games (havnt been playing as good as i could i barley have a jump - brused knee)WISH US LUCK!

they will be ok at that size i would imagen, as ino when they get around 2 foot (6lb-10lb) they will eat small fry and small silver fish as i have witnessed my self whille fishing.

okay thanks so they will be okay? they deff dont look like fry nor silver they have distinct colors.

I should think the size will be ok , but im not an expert on koi i have keep small 2 inch koi with larger 15 " koi and had no problems my self.

hmm okay ill try it if i see any "Missing" koi ill just throw a fine net divider and when should i feed them? when do they start to come up to trust you? same with the big guys.

They will come up for food any time they want to really i find that when they are settled and you start feeding them whille sitting by the edge of the pond , they will get to reconise you, also when you by larger koi go to a large pet shop and by just some larg cheap ghost koi that will come up and suck you fingures then the others should do the same , as the ghost koi are cheap at a larger size and if the pond is new ,just incase anything bad happens and they die from the water , you havent lost out on hundrends lol.

true that lol the lil ones only costed me $20 ($3.99 a pop) so the bigger ones am getting are $24 each, i have $200 to spend gotta do the math.... prob not going to be able to go to the Laker vs Miammi heat game now cause ill be a $100 short... cuz am taking a "friend" boy wont she be mad when i say "sorry i spent on my fish forgot to tell you."
