Would anybody be interested in buying BIG koi, 10-20"? In southern NH (on MA border).
Someone I know wants to sell 15 of his big koi (currently living in 10,000gal pond). Only problem is, that he wants them all gone at once.
He's only asking like $100 for each of them (roughly, price depending on the size and color/quality), which is a great deal, but I can't exactly take in 15 koi that size all at once. I only have a 180-gal tank that I could put them in, and my pond is frozen at the moment, so it's not like I can just crack open a hole and throw them in there. So, if anybody wants to jump in with me on this AWESOME deal, I think we'd all benefit from it. He's got an assortment of colors, inluding (excuse my lack of knowledge about koi color):
white/black "cow"
all yellow/gold
orange/black
silver
kohakus (orange/white)
all orange
tricolor (black/white/orange)
and everything in between
PM me if anyone's interested. I figured I'd drive down to pick these big boys up, all at once, and then I could disperse them to whoever's interested in them. Let me know how many you'd like, and we'll see if we can cover all 15 of them!
