Just a heads-up to make sure everyone has seen this. I'm not sure what the reserve is on this auction, but I know the seller (he'a a member of my local club). He got these from Rapps when I picked up my group, but his were the next size up (i.e., over $100 each), since Jeff had run out of smaller ones at that time. If I didn't have possible pair formation going on now with my 4, I'd be tempted. He had 6, and has sold off a couple of fish individually, but needs the tank space. I'd love to see these go to someone who knew what was what with pikes. :thumbsup:
 
Yeah, saw them and was tempted. The only thing is, if they are indeed the sizes that he states they are, that means they are pretty much in their adult coloration. So basically what you see is what you get. Its possible they might still color up a good bit, hopefully so. Definately some awesome pikes though, but still trying to keep that space open personally for some more 'attractive' lents....haha...
 
I know what you mean about the pic. I know that mine look much better than the picture he's using, so I'm going to assume that he just doesn't have a photo that does them justice. Also, since they are so big, shipping is going to be a ton. I think he was hoping I would buy them, since I wouldn't have to have them shipped.
 
They look pretty cool but the price tag is a bit much for me. Buy it now is $550 for 4 pikes.
 
If speaker would post pictures of his lents that are the same variant, might change a few peeps minds. Plus they are all pretty much adults, rather largish. So those prices are pretty good considering that fact.
 
They're in bed now, but I'll try to get some new pics in the next few days. Here is what I have from about a month ago...not the best pic, and there is more orange showing now than when this was taken:

Well, they shore are looking hott!! How large are they in the most current photo? :D Need to get a shot when they are in their best mood and completely awake! Awesome man! :D
 
I'll have to measure...they are definitely putting on some size, so they probably are pretty close in size to the listed group. Also, the sexes have finally revealed themselves: 1 male and 3 females. :thumbsup: 2 of the females have been banished to the far end of the tank, except for feeding time, by the #1 female.
