I got a couple PM's on this guy since the "odd couple" thread is up so here is an update for you Jay and Andy! I almost lost him when I messed up my 300 gallon but I fought hard to bring him back and he is looking better than ever. I was heartbroken when I found him like this back in Jan



This is him tonight. Nicest looking severum I've owned IMO. He was always very passive and never aggressive towards me. After he recovered he is a glassbanger and scratching my acrylic every time I come close..

haha nope just 50% WC's every day on a 300g for about a month then tappered down from there, back to weekly now. That sucked..

He's awesome. I'm glad you were able to bring him back. A fish that you bring back from near death always has a special value.

He's certainly a great looking sev, and after a skirt with death too. I'm embarrassed to say that I probably would have given up on him. Great job!

Looking good, loosing him would have been tough to take. 150 gals a day for a month, about 4500 gals of water? What was your water bill like? Now that's dedacation.

How did you mess him up? I should do the same to my G. balzanii...maybe they will be more outgoing afterwards
