big mistake......rays ate my gatf!

Well here are some pictures of my new gatf i got Tuesday.. Too bad he got eaten last night by my rays can't say i did not know better

I knew when i added some dithers in there for him (silver dollars) and they disappeared quick i should have moved him to another tank.. thought i can wait another day... NEVER NEVER do that!! If you feel something needs to be done, do it right then...don't wait!

I am done with characins, for a while.

It's bred into them. Comes naturally. Primary food source when rays are young from my understanding is young Characins.

I've always said you can't trust the swimming magic carpets. Especially after I watched them eat Armatus. It was no different then the tanksize thing. Just another clash of "opinions".

Shoals of Armatus may work for a while but I have my doubts of them ever actually working in the long haul. Gotta have a big enough tank for 1 before a shoal.

Gonna be a while before I try it again I think. 3 years of failure makes me question things lol....
