Any ideas on what sizes these will
Max out? They seem to not be stopping.

Currently 38"+ and 40"+ I cant really measure them in the pond properly. There depth and width are becoming unreal.

4' is the biggest I ever saw too. One of Michael Bryce's ( A arapaimag ) was this big.

I know jack, he said his two went 48" and 53" when they died when his filter packed up when he was away. I'm almost certain there two seperate sp of o.niger excluding o.keniri and o.sifinoi (spelling)
My biggest one, has a completely different tale shape, colour (jet black like jacks) and bones marking around the face, ripsaw shapes and the shear bulk difference between the two is ridiculous. Something I shall bring up once I can see them through glass again.
