I hit a few shops today and saw this guy for $12 and i couldnt pass it up after my 8" albino gibb died. He's going to hang out in the pond for a few days then i'm bringing him inside to the 150. Only thing is i havent had a pleco this big in a tank so clean. Right now i have 3 yellow bull heads and a 1" LMB. I have a big ol bag of algae waffers but what else could i feed it that wont funk up the tank. cucumbers have always left a mess and seed all over the bottom.
Tank: the tank is a 72x18 150g with tahitian moon sand, three pieces of drift wood and a few large rocks. The 6' tank has a 3' light so it stays dim and little algae grows.
p.s. any ID on my new 'common' pleco?
