I may be getting a 6' by 3' by 2' tank to house a ray. I want the tank to be a little more than that though. So, do you know of any big, pretty, aggressive cichlid that could go in there? I want something exotic too. Don't say oscars, jack dempseys, or green terrors. Think exotic! The tank will have a PH of exactly 7.6 if that helps any ideas.

Don't know how it would work with a stingray, but a vieja argentea would look awesome. They can get around 14 inches and can be mean as Hell.

No just argentea, they look pretty cool -

I always like these guys fully grown up too -

I wouldn't put my tilapia in with my 19" ray for fear of what it could do. Mean ass fish, I wouldn't try it. Nice p.bass is the way to go. Maybe 2 or 3 pick your color, there are some amazing species out there

I have been looking for a white cichlid for YEARS! Beautiful fish. Any common names to research under? And any place to buy one?

I can vouche for the Argent, beautiful helmet head, mean as a snake, beautiful colors under the light. Contact Cichlid Connection who is a vendor here, name is Gage, he should have some for ya. Mine is a beast and the 500 gallon is his tank

dovii for sure... it should leave the rays alone, if they are big enough...

Even if they were big enough, lookin over at my big dovii, I wouldnt even think about getting any other fish in there with him, especially with his lady in there.
