Wow...That's...Excessive lol. What's the turnover rate on that thing? I'm at 12/hour with my power heads. You must be at 20 or more!

hmmm, not sure, I think I turn over the entire tank every few seconds. :)
 
I don't think I could argue against the claim. LOL Even when I get my UV/2217 setup I'll only be at 14/hour on my 125. My wife's 44 is at 12/hour with 2 Emperor 280s. It's much easier to get high numbers on a smaller tank though obviously. Is there a reason for it or did you just have the extra stuff laying around? Plan on moving it to a larger tank? It's a beauty.

Thank you. I think the main reasons you've mentioned, they are a combination. I had the equipment, and I've found that goldfish are incredibly messy and difficult to maintain longterm, without such filtration.
