I recently put a 15 inch rtc with my 25 inch retail hybrid and after a couple of hours introducing them my bigger cat bite my smaller one on its head. It seemed like a harmless bite because I didn't see any cuts or blood. Now it's swimming kind of funny on its side and just acting weird. Is he hurt did the bite cause internal damage?

Bite sure did something. Hard mixing that large of a Cat with that much of a smaller one.

If the RTCxTSN hybrid was able to get the RTC's head in far enough and squeeze the RTC's gills and prevent it from breathing, partially or totally, that would explain what you see. And I'd separate them immediately. My guess is your tank is smallish, hence, aggressive, territorial behavior, barring your hybrid is real hungry. When I introduced plenty of 1.5' RTCs in my pond, dominated by a 3' RTCxTSN hybrid (and having another 2.5' one in there too), the latter never paid any attention to them. But the pond was 40'x6'x3'.
