where all the fish are!
ive got this tank dems are 91x31x33. In it know are a powder blue tang, a naso tang, a chocolate mimic yellow tang, a kole tang, an atlantic blue tang, a gold bar maroon clown, 2 Longfin Bannerfish, 3 tazmanian devil damsels, a lime green wrasse, a foxface, a picasso trigger, a niger trigger, a porcupine puffer, and a garibaldi. so if im counting right thais 17 fish the largest is maybe pushing 8 inches most in the 3-6 inch range. im just wondering if there is anything else i could add to this tank?

How often do you do water changes? What's your nitrate level before a water change?

I think you were over stocked with just the tangs but continued to read about the triggers and the puffer and that is a recipe fro not good. As the triggers and puffers mature they will become more dominate. So for a 350 I would suggest you take some fish out.

With that size of a tank (403 gallons) you are fine but as you will see on here there will be different opinions, but your water changes will have to be kept up with, how many gallons do you change out every three weeks? If you do 10 percent a week that should be good depending how much u feed, so check your tanks vitals, amonia, nitrates, nitrites, etc.

id say your just about overstocked. Id avoid adding anything until you learn more history on the tank, type of water used, its filtration devices (skimmer, sump, ozone, etc) water parameters, etc. A lot of this will play a role in weather you can keep the tank at a decent stock or not. All the fish in there currently get rather large, with the smallest being 8-9 inches. Once they are fully grown you will notice a lot of algae, poor water quality and eventually fish dieing off. When stocking a tank you should be only adding to the total stock in max inches of the fish, not normally the current size of the fish.

the only other species of fish that I can see being added would be a grouper. Remember though most all groupers get large and are very very dirty, even at a young age.

i know that this tank has been up for years and has had quite a few fish im sure the fish guy that does the mantinance really made me upset telling me that they only do enough to keep it looking ok(as its only there for kids to look at as parents shop). i know its well stocked just wondered if an angel of some sort would work. i guess not. they have a 100 gal premixed salt water stock tank for water changes. and for filteration there are like 6 lifegaurd canisters and a two tower sump not sure of the size.
