QUESTION: Would an adult Sen eat babies if moved into the babies' 10 gal tank?
I have a 10 gal with 2 baby sens (2-3inches) & I wanna move my adult Sen in with them as I have to move my Red Snakehead into the tank where the adult Sen currently is & don't want to risk losing either fish.
The albino baby used to be in the big tank with the adult & the large sen used to lay on her & follow/herd her around like a parent or something(does this to the ropefish too) so I'm thinking the adult would be fine with the 2 babies....but worried about the tank size for the 3 of them. Would that cause violence? Think the babies would surive? Tank has lots of plants, but no holes/rocks.
I hate to do this, but have no other choice other then leave the adult to deal with the snakehead... might only keep adult with babies for a few days, just long enough to clean the snakehead's old tank to toss him in....but a few days is enough for him to eat the babies...so worried
