I have a little question about housing one big silver about 15 to 17 inches with 2 (4 inches) reticulated stingray together in a 7x2x2 aquarium. would this be okie or would the arowana will kill the ray? Right now I have 2 reticulated stingray I got 2 weeks ago in the aquarium doing great they eat black worm all day long and I also have a 4 inches lei arowana in it but of course i will have to move my lei arrow into a different tank (my friend fish tank because he want to trade the big silver for my small lei).

all depends on the temperament of the aro. You will most likely get a good mix of replies, some saying yes it will work great because it has for them and others with horror stories. Now as far as I know aros shouldnt really harass bottom dwellers to much but thats just my guess

I would keep the lei cuz it is harder to find imo but the silver n rsys would be fine

20" silver with 2 nine inch motoros and 3 six inch red tail barbs everyone is happy. The stingrays will swim up the edge to eat the aros hik sticks and he just swims by i have never seen any aggression. The barbs have had bite marks but few and far between

I have a 24" Chili Red Arowana with my rays. Female has had 2 litters of pups in the tank. I was a little apprehensive at first but the Aro never bothered them. I've never fed the Aro live food so he doesn't associate other fish as food.

24 wide will not be big enough for the rays or aro long term

but it should be fine at the sizes you stated
