Has anyone heard of or even had success with keeping large snails with their rays? A friend of mine is talking about doing that and am just considering it myself as well if it is doable. Tia
Hmm. I was more thinking about apple snails. Too big to eat was my thought. Snails burrowed in the sand is an all you can eat buffet lol. All the rays do is sift through the sand for anything to eat.
I would recommend growing out the apple snails as much as possible and maybe getting a larger type. Do you have plants? If not, colombian ramshorns should be alright.
I'm thinking no. Rays eat stuff like that in the wild. Some of the shells may be to hard but I think overall they would harass the snails to death in the very least.
