If i build a new enclosure about 5' x 3' x 4', what kind of large snake could i get. It cant be anything super expensive, maybe around $150-$200 at most. I was thinking maybe some kind of large rat snake or some other large colubrid. And if at all possible, i would like to keep more than one in the enclosure.

Plant it out,lots of branches-get some Tiger Rats (spilota).Would look awesome in a viv like that.
you could keep all kinds like a ball python which will cost any where from 15 to 200... or columbian redtail boas which are like from 60 to 300.. like the guy before said you could do a cool viv with a green tree python... any how the size you quote would probably fit a 4ft to 9ft snake good luck and post pic when your done
