at work
my father is having (already under way) a 1350 aquarium (not pond) being built for his new house in washington. He is going back a forth about what kind of filter to use either a wet/dry or a bead filter. What do you guys think would be a better filter for a tank this large? I my self would go with a large wet/dry

and I promise to be there taking pics when this thing is done

build a massive wet dry, and if possible a water replacement system

Repair has a 2200 that has a 300g wet/dry.

here is what i would do but it depends on where there is room to mount stuff etc

main mechanical filter.... hayward cartridge type swimming pool filter running at about 40 gpm

separate bio filter with bio ball scrubies etc....about 40 gallons worth....can add charcoal on return....

remote mount all this stuff in the garage or untility room....:)

very low maintenace but will not work if its all in the living room..........:(
