If only there was a way to bring these home.... On vacation in Houston, nice surprise catch. Got in to a school of them and caufpght and released 6 All out of a drainage ditch

Ha, very true. Just visiting family. Sister lives just south of Houston. Neighbourhood has a series of drainage canals. Her neighbours likely wonder about her crazy Canadian brother who fishes the ditches every morning. Gar, carp, bass, sunfish, catfish, cichlids, Pleco and an occasional turtle or snake.

Nice catch.... In addition to bringing some home ,which I know you couldn't it would be great to see what the water conditions were and what they naturally feed on so we can try to replicate that.... Next time bring a water test kit lol...
