big tiger turbo snails bad?

im planning on getting a big giant turbo snail for my tank to clean off the algae on the glass. but i don't want these snails also eat coralline algae off my live rocks or eat any organisms on rock nor the sand which is for a mandarin goby i plan on getting. can i hear all pros and cons about these giant tiger turbo snails? thanks

If you mean zebra turbo snails. This is the problem I have found with them. Once they fall over and land in sand they die because they cannot flip themselves back over.

I have never noticed them eating the coralline.
