Took some shots of my Midas today after a waterchange.
He loves to redecorate afterwards so I tried to get some shots of him spitting gravel.
I measured him while the water was low and he's finally at 12".
He's lost some orange markings, but I think the white makes him look more wise.
He's grown about an inch possibly since the last time I posted here.
His fins are also longer and he's thickened up and a lot more feisty.
Time to move him to my 125, as I'd like to watch him grow more... and give him the space he deserves!
First I need to find homes for the 20 juveniles inhabitting it though.
I tried to get a few shots of him spitting gravel... this was very hard since the flash is delayed.
Here is the best spit shot I got of him.
This one was okay, but a little late.
Here he's chasing his platy friend, also good for size comparison. The platys are about 1-1.5".
I liked this one since it looked dark like a lake.
Another late spit shot, but it turned out good to see his jaw structure.
