Bigger ray with smaller rays

I have a young motoro x mantilla pair, male is around 15cm and the female around 20cm in diameter. I know someone selling a large male leo around 35cm and wanting to know before purchasing it, what type of issue (if any) could i expect introducing a larger ray with smaller rays?

Tank size is 340 gallon and a spotted gar as a tank mate.

I’ve found that the larger rays can sometimes bully the smaller rays a little by topping them and taking more food. It’s probably better to be sure they are at least robust enough to fend for themselves before introducing that level of competition.
