Anyone in the UK looking for an beautiful XXL Red Tail Catfish.
Wharf Aquatics in Pinxton Notts have posted on their website (www.wharf aquatics.co.uk) 3 of their XXL fish from their huge 7,000 litre tank for sale (it's undergoing some upgrad/changes), the other two being a Giant Goramy and a Silver Arowana.
The TRC has beautiful colour, finnage and is around the 46"-48" size with a huge head and body girth. I think I've seen most in public aquaria in the UK and if there is a better specimen I've not seen it. I posted pics previously on "does anyone really have a 4 foot rtc". The upside is the price; £200, downside; to the right home only, I'm sure a prospective buyer shall be thoroughly vetted as they have had it for many years. Obviously there shall be VERY few people with a tank to accomodate this monster, but if you do then £200 has to be steal of the century!!! Just wish I had the tank required, I thought the one I had in 1991/2 was a decent size at 31.5", this could have swallowed it....
