Lima shovelnose, small species of plecos, crawfish, small species of various cichlids and anything thats juvenile to grow out! Id say 15-20" of fish is max w/ weekly water changes and good filtration

For reals?!?

Anything around 8-10" should be fine but I wouldn't go any larger.

Think he means a total of 15"-20" of fish, but you could go more or less, depending on the species. You could do 10" of some type of cichlid and be maxed, or you could do 50 neon tetras and be fine with 50" of fish. Honestly I think a well planted/drift wood tank with 3-4 pairs of a single species of ram cichlid, with some type of tetra school swimming around would look nice in a 50 bow.

A single lima shovelnose would pass your "total length" limit, alone.
