Currently my only male ray I own and the biggest jerk of the group of rays in that tank but I gotta love him ?

how many do you have total? and what makes him jerk?

Pretty standard - when male rays mature, they start attempting to breed and biting the disc of the other rays. Can be problem - especially if they do not disperse their attention.

1m 2f in that tank. I’m just being sarcastic as he’s been doin the dance with the bd female for the last few months. And now that he seems to have sealed the deal with her his attentions now on the bosemani hybrid.
