Biggest Midas cichlid (16+ inches)

Hi all,
I came across this massive Midas cichlid, or Amphilophus citrinellus, at the Amsterdam Zoo, Artis. I had to share it with you.
The tank also contains some life-bearers and stingrays. Enjoy.

Wow, he looks like an old guy. Is it just him and his lady in that tank? (Are they the only midas, I mean?) That's a beautiful habitat.

Yeah, that is a nice one but he looks like he is up there in age. Probly is about if not in his teens. Gourgous fish, he deserves to be in such a nice environment with that female. This is going up on the Amphilophus Connection Face Book page Tom. Thanks.

He definitely is an old fellow. But, as for retirement, I don't think he could do worse ;-)
I'll offer the zoo some of my mana's to keep him company - the tank is so large that I don't foresee any issues.
