Just curious how big is the biggest plecos watch a show on tv about diveing in the amazon and saw huge pleco like the size of small table

adonis is one not sure how big the biggest get my books limit me to cats only and tank raised plecs every wild search i do comes up with far too many tank guys.
Pseudoacanthicus hystrix will hit the 4ft mark in roughly 8 years. My Panaque is no slouch in the size department. But, he's a foot shy of the 4 ft mark.

I don't care how many times I see that picture, I will still fall out of my chair everytime. Oddball, that has to be one of the collest fish I ever seen.

Yeah, I like him, too. Especially when he ripples the surface as he moves around the bottom. Not a bad trick considering the tank is 34" deep. But, if I'd known just how much waste he produced before I got him...well, maybe I would have reconsidered and gotten myself a draft horse instead. The horse would leave less waste to clean up.
