So here is the deal. a friend of mines just opened a pet store and in it has a fish section. my friend doesnt know much about fish, filtrations and all the gud stuff so my friend comes to me for advice. The problem my friend has, is that half if not all tanks are very clouded (very clouded water-brownish algea)
There are 2 walls on my friends store and each wall has a wet and dry filter that maintans about 30 to 34 tanks.
This is what I have suggested my friend to do:
1 salt the tanks
2 raise the temperature
3 dont over feed
4 dont over stock (yah right!)
5 syphing the tanks daily
6 and change the filter pads every two weeks.
It was been about 3 weeks now and the problem still continues and I dont know what to do, I mean I want to help my friend but I dont want to tell my friend to do something that might kill the fishes. My friend's business is worth alot of money just talking about fishes, I just dont want to make any mistakes.
Does someone out here knows what I could do to stop that bad algea blow on the tanks without killing any fish? any fish store owners in here?
