ok so today on a tour of town fish stores, i went to one that was really out of the way and that i hadn't been to in a long long time. so im walking around noticing all the 30-40 gallon sumps under all the displays thinking nothing special. Then i rounded a corner and there it was the biggest sump ive ever seen. My jaw dropped at the site of it. It was as tall as I (6ft) had about 4 feet long and 4 feet wide. filled to the top with bioballs with 2 inches of filter pad above the drip plate. i couldn't get pics cuz i normally dnt take pics nor carry around a camera. I was almost amazed at the oddities of fish that i normally dont find in my area such as gars, and other large fish but the weirdest and coolest thing there was in one of the salt water set ups. it was one of those fish that hang onto the underbelly of large sharks and whales. i didnt see a price. I can't figure out why somone would want one of these unless they owned a large shark.

It's probably for a LFS. At the place I worked we had one that was almost that size in the basement.
at the LFS where I used to work we had a 340 gallon reef tank with a 180 gallon sump..
I thought it was a massive sump, since I would love to have a tank that size, nevermind a sump!
