In the fish world that can be kept in under 500 g what do you all think has the strongest jaws and most wicked teeth....my three would be wolves, snakeheads, and bowfin. I love dovii and umbee in the cichlid world but I have never seen them rip fish in half like the previous three mentioned. What would you all say? Alot of fish jush inhale their prey and dont really bite or kill it, not from what i have seen anyway, so lets hear it...I could be wrong...so let me hear it from everyone....;0

Here we go again....one tip, your gonna attract flaming eventually,as people will be sticking up for and arguing over one fish of their preferance.DO NOT FEED IN TO IT!!! As for your answer, lungfish and congo eels can bring the bite,As for teeth,Payara,Wolf, etc, etc.

WOW....I had no intentions of starting any flaming....I see what you are saying, its just a question. Every one has their own preference on the fish they want, I was just asking cuz I have never really seen alot of other large fish eat in person but I know they have teeth. Such as the dovii and umbee they have some pretty nice teeth....I hope people dont get offended. To each his own, thats the beauty of MONSTER FISH....;) Thanks for the warning though Oni.

Oh yeah and I have heard that Lungs pack a mean bite....especially the African ones....since they are pretty damn aggressive.

Puffers!!!

I think puffers are really high at the top of the list....considering they have to eat hard items...I have always wanted a Fahaka....hard bite and aggressive....can it get any better...LOL...

Biggest teeth = Armatus

strongest jaws.- aimara or lacerdae

500 would depend on footprint of the tank.

you didn't specify FW or SW so I'm gonna say triggers have some damn powerful jaws as well.
