Have been intrested in these fish for quite some time have been reading only they can get up to 15 inches but can't find a video or picture of them at that size. Has anyone kept them and had a huge one ?? Would one be fine in a 75???

I had a large male a few years ago,he was about 13 inches,and I think he still had more to grow.they get thick and kind of tall.my trimac was in a 90,I feel that is a better size tank,taller than 75,other dimensions same.
I don't think a 75 is enough. It'd be OK for a little while, but a Trimac would outgrow the tank. Nothing could live in a 75 with it for sure. Once it gets 6-8 inches, it's gonna want the whole 75 to itself. Trimac's need some room.
Here's mine in a 5' 120gl. This will be his home for life with no tank mates. He's grown at about 3/4" per month +/-. Really cool fish. I've never seen one over 12" -13" but like you have heard of them going to 15".
I agree with ragin_cajun, a 75 would only work temporarily. A pair I had out grew a 75gal grow out tank in about a year.
