Bilge Pump

Anyone use a pump like this for the return pump from a sump? Fairly cheap, high gph, and low wattage so could be perfect if it works

The main problem I see is that bulge pumps are not designed for continuous operation. They should be run intermittently at most. Continuous operation would probably burn it up pretty quick.

I agree. I wasn't paying attention and left mine on in the boat overnight and it was dead. Yes it ran dry but they still aren't made to run continuously. Its a nice idea though.
